The Sr. Director, Sales will devise growth strategies, manage sales performance, provide training and ensure targets are met for both branch and virtual operations.
First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a Sr.Director, Sales responsible for the execution of key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve credit union financial targets. The Sr. Directors’ duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding member trends pertaining to both our branch and virtual avenues.
Overseeing the success of our virtual relationship center and our branch locations, the ideal candidate should lead by example through active participation in sales meetings, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are attained through action plans, training, and strategic planning.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the VP, Sales and is based in Hollywood, CA. The targeted pay for California is between $150,000 to $185,000.
Responsibilities
· Actively provide input in establishment of annual operational budget and strategic objectives for area of responsibility and proactively monitor performance throughout the year, adjusting as necessary to achieve goals.
· Analyze department performance data and create ongoing KPI’s relating to production, member satisfaction, and sales that support organizational goals and objectives.
· Monitor, coach, and help to develop sales team, and works closely with department leaders to ensure quality standards, operational efficiency, solidify knowledge gaps, coaching plans, and member service level agreements are met.
· Ensure appropriate communication to staff on goals, progress, and achievement.
· Plan, research, propose, and/or develop specific areas of credit union operations either by the direction of the VP, Sales, the senior leadership team, or own initiative.
· Lead or support various enterprise business projects tied to the organization’s strategic initiatives.
· Collaborate with interdepartmental leaders to streamline or improve member experience and sales enablement.
· Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the programs to which assigned; implements policy, procedural and operational changes as required to keep up with industry trends.
· Participate in projects, as needed, and collaborates with other departments to accomplish goals and improve service and efficiency.
· Act as an escalation point for member concerns that extend beyond branch management.
· Act as backup for our high-asset members, if needed.
· Collaborate with our Community Sales team closely to drive field event engagement and membership acquisition.
Requirements
· High school graduate, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
· 7 to 10 years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field. Prefer at least 5 years of people leadership experience.
· In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities. Ability to read, speak and write clearly to convey information effectively.
· Prior experience working or leading teams from Call Center helpful but not required.
· Prior consumer lending experience preferred
· Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Symitar for Windows (Episys).
· Reliable transportation or means to travel as this role will require regular visits to the branches.
