Description

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to take a highly visible leadership role in shaping and driving Tufin’s market positioning, messaging, and overall go-to-market strategy. This role is at the center of collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Sales, ensuring that our company vision is not only clearly defined but also compellingly communicated internally and externally. We need a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—someone who can disrupt the market, position Tufin as the category leader, and energize our sellers through clarity, charisma, and powerful storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in network security or cybersecurity, working closely with both customer-facing teams as well as technical product teams. Our marketing organization is highly data-driven and analytical, so the ideal candidate must be proficient in testing the market, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions that drive measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the market landscape and drive the strategy for attachment to high-growth segments.
  • Use go-to-market and product usage data to run motions that accelerate revenue growth.
  • Be the “voice of the buyer” through regular customer interaction as well as sales data analysis.
  • Build a standardized use case library and lead the creation of high-impact product materials.
  • Craft compelling persona-based messaging, validate it, and ensure consistent adoption.
  • Develop campaign and launch strategies based on market insights and product data.
  • Work with Product Management to test roadmap ideas and drive roadmap decisions.
  • Manage our Tech Alliances program in coordination with product development teams.
  • Deliver competitive insights and strategies based on win/loss analysis and market intel.
  • Develop clear, effective sales enablement resources that are field-tested side-by-side with reps.
  • Drive thought leadership through PR/AR that elevates our brand and drives market attachment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience in product marketing in cybersecurity or a related field, including management experience
  • Proven track record of market insights and story-telling that drives business results
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI technologies to product marketing and messaging
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable running experiments, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions that drive measurable improvements
  • Ability to lead and inspire across the company

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
