Sr. Director, HR Business Partner and Learning & Development
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Sr. Director of HR Business Partners & Learning and Development to lead our HRBP team while serving as the architect for enterprise-wide learning strategies. This is a rare opportunity to shape the HR model and culture of a high-tech company at a pivotal inflection point.
This role is 70% HRBP-focused and 30% L&D-focused, ideal for someone who thrives in transformation and is energized by building from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
HR Business Partner Leadership (Primary Focus)
Lead and coach a team of global HRBPs aligned to business functions across Engineering, Operations, and Corporate.
Act as the lead HRBP to a key executive (likely business unit or function head), providing strategic guidance on organizational design, talent planning, team effectiveness, and leadership development.
Partner closely with executive leadership to translate business goals into people strategies that drive performance, growth, and engagement.
Champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and performance.
Serve as a change leader during organizational evolution, workforce planning, and integration efforts.
Learning & Development (Secondary Focus)
Serve as the point leader for all Learning & Development efforts across the company.
Build and deploy scalable learning frameworks that enable leadership capability, technical skill development, onboarding, and continuous learning.
Leverage internal and external resources to implement high-impact programs that support employee growth in a lean and cost-effective way.
Collaborate with functional leaders and HR peers to embed learning into the flow of work and culture.
Who You Are:
15+ years of HR Experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a global leadership role managing multiple, cross-border and cross-cultural geographies, ideally in a semiconductor, hardware, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading or co-leading Learning & Development strategy, ideally in a company with fewer systems and more need for scalable design.
Track record of success working in transformation environments, with the ability to flex between strategy and hands-on execution.
Experienced leading a team and influencing senior executives through data, insight, and strong judgment.
Naturally agile, comfortable in ambiguity, and highly collaborative.
Passionate about developing people and building strong, adaptive organizations.
Salary Range
The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Semiconductor or hardware industry experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience in companies undergoing M&A, spin-offs, or PE ownership transitions.
Strong business acumen and systems thinking.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in HR, Organizational Development, or related fields a plus.
