About this Position

We're looking for the Head of Product Design to reimagine the future of Global Growth Technology by ensuring that our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. In this role, you'll be part of the Product leadership team, working together with your counterparts in engineering, product, Ops, marketing and other disciplines to define the strategy, operations and communications that guide the team to build great products addressing real user needs. You’ll be expected to utilize your full range of people management skills, product strategy, product design, interaction design and visual design skills. We, at G-P, are at the forefront of leveraging AI technologies and AI-native approach to our products (see G-P Gia and G-P Assist), and in this role you will be spearheading how AI and AI Agents can be part of our overall experience.
Reporting into the Global Head of Product, this leader will be responsible for driving new initiatives for shaping the product experience for our customers and people and bring excellence across the design organization.

What you'll do:

  • The Head of Product Design will define the design goals and direction for our product portfolio, design language,  and work with teams to execute and bring it to life.
  • The head of product design plays a pivotal role in guiding the design strategy and direction and driving innovation through design. Bring creative thinking and problem solving to the highest level.
  • Spearhead AI-centric and AI-agent-centric experience for our customers and users. 
  •  You will be responsible for shaping the product experience for our customers and people to bring the highest level of craft and execution.
  • You will collaborate closely with your counterparts in engineering, product, operations and content design to define the strategy, operations and communications that guide the team to build great products addressing real user needs
  • Inspire, lead and mentor a team of designers, driving focus and execution from concept to completion of product features.
  • Evangelize design thinking (customer driven innovation) as an approach to driving business and customer value.
  • Partner closely with a world-class (and global) team of product managers, engineers, content designers, user experience researchers, data scientists, and product Ops to deliver high quality experiences for people across markets, platforms and product surfaces.
  • Be able to flexibly support the team across different types of projects, operating at a high level or dive into the weeds as needed - able to go toe to toe with ICs.
  • Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met, your org is effective, and team members are set up for success by setting clear and measurable goals.

What we're looking for:

  • 10 years of leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership, including hiring and developing senior managers and individual contributors.
  • 10 years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams.
  • Experience working with AI-driven technologies.
  • Able to effectively communicate design solutions to all audiences, inclusive of executive leadership & the C-suite.
  • Able to deeply understand business goals and outcomes by leveraging the use of data analytics, user testing, and research to inform and validate design decisions and focus on constant improvement.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Be the player coach, senior people management, team development, recruiting and org building experience.
  • Experience with embedding AI in product experience and experience with leveraging AI to bolster team efficiency.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $205,600.00-  $257,000.00 plus variable compensation.
