Job Description:

Job Summary

The Sr. Director, Corporate Development leads the Boyd Group’s management, approach, and position on pricing and risk relative to new acquisitions and NTI’s for collision, glass, and calibration opportunities. This role also leads and manages the team that provides the valuation and due diligence support to both new acquisitions and NTI’s  This role also serves in a lead position for evaluating other strategic opportunities.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the deal pipeline, underwriting and integration with cross functional teams
  • Develop and manage the company's approach to value, pricing, and risk.
  • Develop the strategy and plan to support the company's growth objectives (including flex when needed) for MSO, single, NIT’s. This includes optimizing the pipeline process.
  • Escalate risks/issues outside of parameters.
  • Develop a scalable strategy to pricing, modeling, and DD (e.g. decision making frameworks).
  • Partner with Business Development, Real Estate Development, and operations to gain agreement to high level growth priorities.
  • Own and manage the investment committee process.
  • Partner with RVPs and SVPs to address value concerns and take a leadership role relative to achieving an objective.
  • Track and manage all opportunities throughout the cycle: Identify opportunities to improve processes; identify and address barriers to success, escalate as needed; identify, address, and report on variances to plan.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

  • MBA or CFA designation required.
  • 10+ years experience in Finance, Valuation and Due Diligence experience required.
  • 7+ years experience leading and growing a team.
  • Rollup experience is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Business Modeling
  • Superior communication skills required, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical.
  • Presentation skills - must be able to present potential opportunities at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

  • Travel as required within the U.S. and Canada.

Compensation Details:

$225,000 - $250,000 / Year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. 

Supplemental Pay: 

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
