Job Description:

Pluralsight is seeking a Senior Director of Demand Generation to lead B2B marketing strategy and execution, partnering with regional sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth. This role will define and implement demand gen strategies for our enterprise B2B business, overseeing awareness, pipeline generation, and revenue acceleration.

Reporting to the VP of B2B Marketing, the ideal candidate has extensive demand generation experience, thrives in a data-driven environment, and is skilled in scaling lead generation programs using modern AI technologies!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and execute a comprehensive B2B demand generation strategy across all segments (SMB, Commercial, Enterprise, Strategic) to drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Own and optimize the entire marketing funnel—from awareness to bookings—leveraging data-driven insights to maximize ROI, channel performance, and attribution accuracy.

  • Drive pipeline growth through orchestrated digital, media, ABM, field marketing, and sales-aligned tactics (e.g., blitz campaigns)

  • Influence media campaign strategy in partnership with internal teams; recommend targeting and budget allocations based on performance, pipeline impact, and strategic priorities.

  • Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and BDR teams to enhance lead quality, improve speed-to-lead, increase conversion rates, and accelerate pipeline velocity.

  • Leverage AI and MarTech tools to drive targeting, personalization, content engagement, and overall campaign effectiveness.

  • Create and maintain tight relationships with sales leaders working collaboratively to ensure they are informed and aligned with marketing activities.

  • Use segmentation, intent data, ICP targeting, and A/B testing to continuously refine messaging and program performance.

  • Recommend and implement improvements in lead capture flows to drive higher conversion from high-intent visitors.

  • Generate MOP through intent-based ABM strategies, utilizing Demandbase data and a persona-driven journey framework.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Media, Digital, Integrated, Brand, Product Marketing, Field, Events, and Marketing Ops to activate programs across the buyer journey.

  • Expertise incorporating field & event prospects into full funnel marketing programs to optimize lead conversion into MOP

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing global team, fostering professional growth, operational excellence, and scalable program execution.

  • Translate KPIs, market insights, and business goals into actionable campaign strategies that deliver measurable impact.

  • Cultivate deep partnerships with enterprise sales teams to support strategic account growth with targeted marketing efforts.

  • Provide proactive, strategic support to internal stakeholders, ensuring marketing initiatives align with broader business objectives.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Proven ability to lead and drive business growth for entire regions/segments.

  • Strong experience working cross-functionally across sales, business development, integrated marketing, customer marketing, and marketing operations.

  • Excellent understanding of how to analyze and optimize conversion rates across the sales and marketing funnel.

  • Extensive experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation (e.g., Marketo), ABM tools (e.g., DemandBase), and data tracking (e.g., Tableau).

  • Proven success using AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance targeting, personalization, and campaign performance

  • Demonstrable success managing demand gen programs across earned (SEO/GEO, website, email), paid (search, events, social), and owned channels (web, webinar, podcast).

  • Experience implementing specific strategies to improve Speed to Lead and reduce time to qualified pipeline

  • Experience building structure, process and accountability into all marketing programs and activities

  • Proven success in working closely with BDR and Sales teams achieving prospect acquisition goals and achieving growth within target accounts

  • Data acquisition and management knowledge to support lead capture, nurturing and outbound campaigns.

  • Highly quantitative with a very strong understanding of data.

  • A desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on projects and campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience in a demand generation leadership role, preferably in the B2B enterprise software space or a complex technical market with longer sales cycles.

  • Excellent decision-making skills in regards to allocating marketing spend.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

The annual US base salary range for this role is $142,100- $ 197,300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
