Dispel Engineering is in charge of building and maintaining Dispels products. Engineering interacts closely with Product, Operations, and Project management.
All members of the engineering team are expected to be honest, competent and easy to work with. Communicating around the state of plans and execution as well as continually learning about the technologies used in Dispels products is also expected of all team members.

Stack includesTerraform, Docker, AWS (ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, etc..), Azure, Python, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Shell, Windmill
- 5+ years of experience shipping production ready software.
- Self reliant in DevOps, Infrastructure-as-code, orchestration, automation, and redundancy methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Professional experience with containers, AWS, AWS Well Architected Framework, and Terraform.
- Experience with delivering web applications to production in a reliable manner.
- Experience guiding teams through the software development lifecycle from local development to production.
- Experience crafting logging, metrics, and alerting systems that deliver value to teams.

- Strong coding background and/or strong cloud or architectural background.
- Knowledge of threat modeling, secure coding, and incident response planning. Experience of Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well using infrastructure-as-code tooling(Terraform) to build and maintain them.
- A willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again.
- A passion for learning new disciplines and gaining a deep understanding of how others on the team do their work.
- An ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both in-person and over team chat.

The U.S. pay range for this position is between $130,000 and $160,000. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
