About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team at Hims & Hers, you would be responsible for building the infrastructure necessary to analyze marketing campaign performance, serving as a technical expert on measurement and attribution strategies, and delivering insights and recommendations around business growth drivers. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to drive acquisition and customer value growth for the business.

You Will:
  • Serve as a technical expert and end-to-end owner on marketing data sources, analytics infrastructure, data models, and analysis and measurement methodologies

  • Optimize complex data models that unify data across marketing channels and apply complex attribution models

  • Investigate the root causes of data anomalies and trends

  • Develop and automate dashboards and reporting that are critical to business stakeholder decision-making

  • Develop, maintain, and scale in-house multi-touch attribution (MTA) models and media mix models (MMM)

  • Design, execute. and analyze A/B and incrementality tests across marketing campaigns to drive strategic decision-making

  • Present complex topics to a wide range of audiences

  • Enable and evangelize self-service analytics through which we empower stakeholders to explore data and perform high-level analysis

You Have:
  • 5-7+ years of experience as an analyst, writing complex queries, developing in business intelligence tools, performing analysis in Python and/or R, summarizing insights, and communicating with senior stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or relevant years of work experience

  • Strong SQL and Python skills are a requirement; must be able to understand and author complex SQL queries, design database schemas, and optimize query performance while minimizing costs

  • Experience with DBT for data modeling and orchestration

  • Experience using Looker for business intelligence and developing a semantic layer in LookML is strongly preferred

  • Advanced Python skills for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling: experience using Jupyter notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.

  • An understanding of the marketing business domain, particularly applications such as multi-touch attribution (MTA), and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)

  • Experience with website analytics (e.g. Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.) and app analytics tools (e.g. Branch, AppsFlyer, etc.)

  • Familiarity with statistical experimentation and A/B testing principles

  • Results-oriented with strong project management and communications skills
