Role Overview
Internally here at Thunder, we refer to this role as Project Champion. Think of this role as a “General Manager” for smaller-scope Thunder projects. You’ll wear several hats: mostly Solution Architect or BA, but with daily aspects focused as a Project Manager. You will be the primary onshore resource for multiple engagements at a time, including both Delivery and Managed Services, ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality support across their active workstreams.

Responsibilities
- Support a diverse portfolio of clients across both Delivery and Managed Services, serving as the primary onshore liaison to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate seamlessly with global team members
- Serve as the primary point of contact to the client for all operational aspects of your projects
- Develop project plans and hold responsibility for day-to-day management of the projects — budget, schedule, and deliverables
- Prepare and communicate regular status reports for the client as well as internal Thunder stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into business process, business requirement documents, and functional specifications
- Evaluate client’s business processes and identify opportunities for enhancement
- Partner with client in the execution of Training and UAT
- Collaborate with developers to review solutions and ensure they will meet the business requirements
- Develop user stories and process diagrams to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions
- Implement Salesforce functionality according to best practices
- Work with global team resources to complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products, or other cloud-based technologies
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of previous consulting experience with other Salesforce Implementation Partners in the Salesforce ecosystem
- 1-2+ years of experience working on multiple, small - midsize engagements at a time
- Experience wearing the Solution Architect "hat", or working closely with a SA, on at least 2+ engagements
- Depth in one or more Salesforce Cloud products: primarily Service + Sales Cloud
- Active Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Admin; Business Analyst; Service Cloud Consultant
- Ability to confidently lead multiple, small-midsize customer engagements at a time
- Demonstrated ability and passion for Project Management tasks
- Demonstrated success in partnering with near- and offshore resources
- Deep understanding of Salesforce out-of-the-box features and implementation best practices
- Lens for consulting and proactively solutioning customer needs
- Willingness to jump in and solution on new products (ie Agentforce)

At Thunder, we are committed to pay equity and transparency. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 and represents the national base pay targets for this role across all U.S. locations. This disclosed range does not include additional compensation components such as discretionary bonuses, equity, or our standard employee benefits package. Actual individual pay decisions are based on a rigorous assessment of job-related factors, including the candidate’s geographic location, relevant certifications, and specific level of professional experience.
