About the Team:
About the Role:
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure project design at the Wormhole factory—from concept development through permit issuance and construction handoff
- Translate operational requirements into buildable, code-compliant design packages across architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil disciplines
- Serve as the central point of coordination for stakeholder engagement, consultant management, and cross-functional design integration
- Drive development of work center layouts in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers and CAD teams to meet equipment, utility, and compliance needs
- Manage design-phase budgets, soft cost estimates, and change tracking in partnership with project controls and estimating teams
- Provide construction administration support including submittal reviews, RFI responses, site walks, and punchlist validation to ensure design intent is maintained
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience leading capital or infrastructure projects through design, permitting, and construction phases
- Strong knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety, Title 24, and permitting requirements
- Proven ability to manage consultant deliverables, coordinate interdisciplinary design reviews, and facilitate stakeholder alignment
- Proficiency in reviewing construction documents, redlines, and QA/QC deliverables for scope clarity and constructability
- Organized communicator skilled at producing clear meeting notes, action trackers, and handoff packages for execution teams
Nice to haves but not required:
- PE license or PMP certification
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments or cleanroom infrastructure projects
