We’re actively seeking a talented Compliance Analyst to join our Consumer Affairs (Complaint Handling) team Newport Beach, CA. Internal candidates in Omaha will also be considered.

As a Compliance Analyst you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by assisting policyowners and regulators by reviewing and responding to complaints. You will fill a role that sits on a small team in the Enterprise Compliance division. You will work closely with your management and colleagues to help provide a work environment to solicit feedback and consistency when handling complaints.
How you will make an impact:

  • Under guidance and collaboration with management and the team, provide a timely review of all assigned complaints
  • Adhere to company and department procedures while seeking creative, effective and fair resolutions to complex situations.
  • Provide consultation and support to internal departments supporting the LID, RSD, ID, and WBD divisions which includes assisting with documentation of complex service issues.
  • Recognize and escalate potential issues and trends to management’s attention, providing suggested resolution(s) when possible.
  • Conduct miscellaneous compliance assignments and projects as necessary.

The experience you will bring:

  • 5+ Years of experience in life and/or annuity products. Note - candidates with less experience will still be considered at a potentially lower market band.
  • Candidate must possess excellent writing skills, problem solving capabilities, and solid communication skills.
  • Candidate must be detailed orientated and provide analytical reviews.
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task and coordinate with multiple business partners.

  • Current knowledge or the ability to quickly learn our internal administrative and workflow systems. This includes but is not limited to Cyberlife, VASE, PPT, AWD, FAST, Vantage, FileNet.
  • Series 6/7 License

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$103,140.00 - $126,060.00
