Job Summary
Sr. Cloud Engineer will work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to developer teams to build their cloud competencies. Ensure application and infrastructure performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design. Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
This is an onsite position based out of the Irvine, CA office
Job Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive cloud services support and/or technical support on moderately complex projects and initiatives
- Analyzes, modifies and may develop best practices to improve processes and services
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of some phases of cloud operation actives
- Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
- Interprets internal/external business environment
- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to Jr. Cloud Engineers to help develop their cloud competencies
- Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives
- Communicates difficult concepts to team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products
- May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- Cloud Certifications desired but not required
Experience
- Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (Azure (preferred) , AWS, or GCP)
- Strong cloud security expertise (zero-trust architecture, encryption, IAM best practices)
- Advanced networking concepts (load balancers, VPNs, hybrid cloud)
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native application architecture
- Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience

Pay Range & Benefits
$92,925.08 - $154,875.13 Annually
The base salary range provided is consistent with similar roles at the Company. The base salary range is not an absolute, but a guide, and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, market conditions, and other compensation components. Depending upon all of the preceding considerations, the base salary may be lower or higher than the stated range.
