DV Rockerbox is seeking a seasoned Senior Client Partner, Customer Success - Rockerbox to lead customer renewals and drive account growth. You will take full ownership of renewals for high revenue customers, partnering with Customer Success Managers to align on strategy, mitigate risk, and lead customer-facing negotiations at the right moment based on contract dynamics and customer context.

This is a highly visible, senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership over commercial outcomes. You will operate independently, build trust quickly with customer stakeholders, and take initiative to retain and grow key accounts. You will be directly responsible for achieving Rockerbox’s retention and expansion goals, with clear revenue targets tied to your work.

What You'll Do
  • Take full ownership of renewals for Rockerbox’s high revenue customers, driving all commercial strategy and execution
  • Lead customer-facing conversations around pricing, contract terms, and multi-year agreements
  • Partner with CSMs to determine the right time to initiate renewal or expansion discussions based on contract and customer needs
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders including procurement, finance, and marketing leads to manage and close renewals
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities by aligning product capabilities with evolving customer goals
  • Own and deliver against renewal and expansion revenue targets
  • Deliver accurate forecasts in partnership with Revenue Operations
  • Build and improve internal processes for renewals, expansions, and commercial playbooks
  • Act as a senior voice within the CS team, operating with autonomy and influencing how we manage customer lifecycle strategy

Who You Are

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in renewals, account management, or customer success at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven track record of owning revenue-generating renewals and driving measurable retention and growth outcomes with high revenue customers
  • Deep experience negotiating pricing, contract structure, and multi-year agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results without structured oversight
  • Ability to build trust quickly and jump into relationships mid-lifecycle
  • Strong communicator with a consultative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Process-driven with an eagerness to build and refine renewal and upsell workflows
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment with high accountability
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools for forecasting and pipeline management

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $103,000 to $177,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.

Not-so-fun fact: Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of job criteria, women and other marginalized groups tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes but you’re not sure that you check every box, apply anyway!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
