POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Senior Client Manager will manage mid to large size business renewal accounts from start to finish. The role requires levaluating insurance needs, contractual requirement analysis, and helping create effective risk management solutions designed to meet clients' financial goals. This includes the broking/quoting for renewals, putting together renewal proposals, and prioritizing client retention and communication.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Point of Contact and lead for client renewal processes, handling a book of business consisting of approximately 30 accounts (100 policies).
  • Setting an executing strategy meetings with renewal clients to evaluated coverages and needs.
  • Facilitating the policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting process on renewals
  • Fostering relationships with various insurance carriers and acting as the liaison between current clients and carriers, as well as wholesalers
  • Consulting clients on the right insurance coverage as they grow and scale their companies
  • When requested, serves as a mentor to new colleagues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and P&C License or working towards a professional insurance designation preferred
  • Experience: 5 years’ experience and demonstrated proficiency in Commercial Account Management required;
  • License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Possesses strong technical knowledge of general insurance coverage, market conditions, and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites.

TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary

  • Some travel may be required
