As a Client Account Manager specializing in full-funnel marketing strategies, you will play a pivotal role in driving business results for Pinterest’s strategic advertisers. Your expertise in both upper and lower funnel tactics will help you grow and nurture client relationships and guide them from awareness through to conversion and retention. Your strategic activities will be crucial in delivering exceptional value to millions of Pinners daily, helping them turn inspiration into action by utilizing our partners’ products.


What you'll do

  • Strategic Partnership Building: 

    • Independently engage with key stakeholders across Media and Creative teams to cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships, aligning with their business objectives at all stages of the marketing funnel from brand awareness to performance.

  • Campaign Setup and QA:

    • Oversee the setup and quality assurance of performance campaigns, adhering to best practices across all releases.

    • Manage the delivery of creative assets, campaign optimizations, upselling, and all relevant documentation in preparation for campaign launch and post-campaign wrap-up.

    • Collaborate extensively with internal and external teams to ensure first-party data segments are correctly integrated into platforms before launch.

  • Comprehensive Campaign Management:

    • Independently engage with key stakeholders across Media and Creative teams to cultivate strategic partnerships, aligning with business objectives.

    • Oversee the planning, implementation, upselling, and ongoing optimization of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and delivering tailored solutions through data-driven insights.

    • Optimize media campaigns daily, leveraging various technologies and buying platforms to enhance target audience segments cross-platform, while supporting audience data analysis throughout and post-campaign.

  • Reporting:

    • Deliver a daily tracker to monitor daily pacing and performance changes.

    • Provide weekly visibility to the performance of live campaigns via campaign-end reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment with client objectives.

  • Drive Business Growth: 

    • Analyze partner goals and translate data-backed insights into actionable recommendations that drive growth. Leverage Pinterest's ad offerings to maximize ROI for partners through both branding and retargeting strategies.

  • Expert Guidance in Advertising Technology: 

    • Develop a deep understanding of Pinterest's advertising products and best practices, advising clients on advanced targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement strategies to achieve comprehensive funnel success.

  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: 

    • Deliver an exceptional client experience by facilitating communication and preparation, proactively resolving issues, and ensuring all campaigns are conducted professionally and efficiently. 

  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: 

    • Lead by example in simplifying complex processes into digestible strategies for clients, pitching new solutions confidently, and integrating continuous improvements in campaign strategies to meet dynamic market trends.

  • Organizational Contribution: 

    • Play a vital role in developing company-wide initiatives such as training programs, and resources that empower account management success.


What we're looking for:

  • Proven Experience in Client Account Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and grow strategic client accounts through tailored, data-driven strategies.

  • Expertise in Digital Advertising: In-depth knowledge of advertising practices with a strong technical foundation in media and measurement.

  • Client Consultative Skills: Proficiency in identifying business needs and overcoming client resistance with compelling, data-supported recommendations and effective communication.

  • Ability to Execute Full-Funnel Sales Strategies: Ability to develop comprehensive sales strategies across the funnel, from both top of funnel awareness to conversion and successfully drive adoption.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize campaign timelines congruently. (i.e. awareness campaign lifecycle, performance campaign lifecycle, weekly optimizations and pacing, client status calls including campaign kick-off, pin pack creation, campaign launch, mid-campaign check-in, recap reporting, etc.)

  • Strong Communication Skills: Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with clients and internal teams. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively challenging the status quo, questioning client directives constructively, and employing problem-solving abilities to drive impactful solutions.

  • Collaborative Team Player: Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working efficiently to support peers and align with organizational goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business administration or sales management, or equivalent experience.

 

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Chicago, IL, New York, NY, San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA office.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
