Summary
Partners with the Business Information Systems (BIS) team, to gather functional and non-functional requirements for internal products/processes/strategies used by IDeaS' business teams. This primarily covers customizations and enhancements to IDeaS' Salesforce solution within the sales, account management, client support, contract, and finance functions.
Major Responsibilities
- Acts as a trusted advisor to an internal functional area by engaging with leadership to understand the functions strategic goals, business objectives and how their team interacts with and uses Salesforce.
- Provide support to the functional business analyst, resolving complex Salesforce lead-to-cash issues.
- Assess the impact of new go-to-market models on the lead-to-cash
- Collaborate with functional members to identify operational pain points and create business requirements to drive Salesforce enhancements.
- Gather and analyze department feedback to understand end user's perception of features and gather insights for continuous product improvement.
- Assist in developing the Salesforce enhancement roadmap , aligning it with company goals, and end user requirements.
- Partner with the Business Information Systems (BIS) team to support user acceptance testing and provide the "go/no go" decision for production releases.
- Build strong relationships across functions through collaborating with other Sr. Business Operations Specialists on their projects as needed and sharing key updates to drive alignment.
- Supports ad hoc functional projects and contributes to additional initiatives as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-based company.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business related major.
- Extensive experience with a Salesforce environment with an emphasis on the lead-to cash process as well as release procedures and user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrates good understanding of business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust and relationships with business users.
- Experience creating deliverables such as Business Requirements Document (BRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, and Workflow Diagrams.
- Able to perform effective prioritization with limited resources and drive results with high emphasis on quality.
- Excellent customer service approach and consultative skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of proactivity, creativity, curiosity, and self-motivation
- Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Salesforce business analyst certification preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
