The Business Operations Manager will be leading all aspects of and optimizing long-term supply chain planning, long-term agreements, and long-range planning for the company. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient operations and strategic decision-making!

Key Responsibilities:

Long Term Supply:

  • Prepare presentation material for working and executive level demand reviews at the beginning of every S&OP cycle, consisting of cycle-over-cycle demand changes, potential impacts to the supply situation, and demand impacts to market share.
  • Serve as the main point of contact within CDBU for questions related to long-term capacity planning to help drive decisions on when and where to engage customers.
  • Provide mentorship to the supply chain on solving issues and address any questions related to CDBU demand.
  • Analyze supply solves produced by the supply chain and provide feedback on requested changes to optimize the plan in alignment with CDBU strategy and direction.
  • Advise and prepare CDBU executives on main areas of focus for a given S&OP cycle, in preparation for the S&OP executive reviews.
  • Provide final plan previews to CDBU executives ahead of plan locks each cycle.

Long Term Agreements (LTA):

  • Build and maintain the yearly CDBU long-term agreement (LTA) customer tracker.
  • Facilitate weekly discussions with business development, marketing, and customer-facing teams to get account level summaries, pending actions, and latest document status.
  • Present to CBDU leadership on a specific cadence of the latest updates for each customer and any pending actions to sign off on each agreement in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all long-term agreements are fully supplied throughout the horizon.

Long Range Planning:

  • Understand and speak to high-level data center SSD and DRAM trends in the 5–10-year time horizon.
  • Represent CDBU in the long-term planning horizon using the latest marketing forecast, projected trends, and team feedback to build a plan that can be used by capacity planning teams.

Factory Network and Manufacturing Outlook:

  • Represent CDBU’s best interest when discussing manufacturing site changes with the product operations team.
  • Understand the impact and strategic reasoning for assembly and test recommendations for CDBU products and escalate discussions to the appropriate decision-makers as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in business management and supply planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry trends and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to compete in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$136,500.00 - $266,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
