THE ROLE

Everpure is seeking a strategic and technical Sr Business Operations Manager for our Hyperscale Line of Business (LoB). In this senior individual contributor role, you will lead complex, cross-functional engineering and operational programs that accelerate the deployment of our differentiated storage platform technologies into cloud infrastructure environments.

Acting as an operational backbone and engineering liaison for the LoB, you will sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product Management, Business Development, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, and Finance. You will co-architect scalable Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) workflows, build advanced data analytics pipelines to track key product metrics, model complex non-standard deal economics, and streamline enterprise software configurations across Salesforce CPQ/Billing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

End-to-End Q2C Engineering & Program Execution

  • Lead quarterly Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) execution cycles for critical, time-sensitive hyperscale transactions, serving as the principal operational coordinator across Sales/Business Development, Deal Desk, Finance, and Operations.
  • Co-architect and continuously optimize the end-to-end Q2C lifecycle—from initial quoting and custom deal approvals to order booking, invoicing, and revenue recognition dependencies.
  • Identify operational friction, eliminate administrative bottlenecks, and build automated, scalable workflows designed to support rapid revenue growth.

Product Analytics Strategy & Data Engineering

  • Collaborate with Product Management to drive product analytics strategy by defining key performance metrics (KPIs/OKRs), tracking feature adoption, and mapping complex customer user journeys.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis using SQL and modern BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.) to extract insights from large telemetry datasets, customer cohorts, and RMA data.
  • Provide product recommendations based on analysis to Product Management and Engineering to optimize commercial outcomes.

Enterprise Systems Governance & Technical Requirements

  • Serve as the principal LoB liaison for Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, and related business operations platforms.
  • Translate operational and business friction into clear technical requirements, driving pipeline tracking enhancements, system automation, and platform integration.

Pricing Strategy & Custom Deal Engineering

  • Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate custom deal economics, discounting structures, COGs, and margin impacts for high-value hyperscale opportunities.
  • Ensure non-standard deal terms strike an optimal balance between market competitiveness, financial profitability, and operational deliverability.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Executive Rhythm

  • Drive strategic technical programs from concept through execution, aligning cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Product, BD, Demand Planning, Finance, and Legal.
  • Design and maintain real-time executive dashboards to communicate program status, risk mitigations, deal velocity, and capacity forecasts to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: 7+ years in Technical Program Management (TPM), Product Management, Business Operations, or Product Analytics within a fast-growing enterprise B2B tech, storage, or cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Technical & Data Stack: Hands-on proficiency with SQL, BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker), advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling, and data pipeline analytics.
  • Systems Mastery: Deep familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, and Salesforce Billing architecture, including workflow automation and CPQ rules.
  • Domain Expertise: Advanced understanding of end-to-end Q2C ecosystems, revenue recognition rules, financial margin modeling, and statistical forecasting principles.
  • Program Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-faceted, high-ambiguity engineering programs across matrixed organizations without formal direct authority.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
