Position Summary:The Sr. Business Integration Solutions Analyst analyzes, documents, and supports integrations between our platform and external Applicant Tracking System (ATS) partners to promote reliable data exchange, seamless customer onboarding, and a consistent integration experience across a growing partner network. This role applies strong business analysis and requirements management skills along with technical fluency in APIs, data mapping, authentication, webhooks, polling, and integration architectures. The analyst translates functional and technical requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, enabling Engineering and functional teams to deliver integrations efficiently while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.Essential Functions and responsibilities:
  • Analyze integration processes to identify opportunities to improve scalability, automation, reliability, and time to market across partner and platform integrations.
  • Define evaluation criteria to determine when integration capabilities should be standardized, configurable, or tailored for customer‑specific needs.
  • Gather and maintain requirements by analyzing business and technical needs for strategic partner integrations and platform capabilities.
  • Develop detailed API requirements for data exchanges, workflows, background check initiation, status updates, results delivery, and related integration functionality.
  • Translate partner capabilities into actionable user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria aligned with business and technical objectives.
  • Recommend reusable patterns by analyzing common customer and ATS needs to support scalable, repeatable integration approaches.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual implementation effort through standardization, reusable services, and standardized APIs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional requirements throughout discovery, development, certification, launch, support, and enhancement cycles.
  • Research ATS capabilities including APIs, data models, authentication, webhooks, rate limits, and other integration mechanisms.
  • Maintain data mappings between internal platforms and partner systems, documenting candidate, job, application, status, recruiter, and related data flows.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate API changes, technical solutions, architectural tradeoffs, observability improvements, and reliability enhancements.
  • Analyze enhancement proposals and recommend priorities based on strategic value, recurring customer needs, implementation effort, and technical debt.
  • Document integration standards by maintaining clear requirements, API changes, patterns, and feedback from customer‑facing teams to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Other duties assigned.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, integration analysis, systems analysis, technical product support, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working with SaaS integrations, APIs, or integration platforms.
  • Strong technical understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, data mapping, webhooks, polling, and error handling.
  • Experience translating functional and technical concepts into business requirements, user stories, product specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to operate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR technology, HCM, recruiting, or background screening.
  • Experience supporting integration products or developer/API products through implementation and ongoing enhancement.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, webhooks, middleware, and integration monitoring.

Work Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST 

Travel: This position requires regular travel to support partner and client meetings, integration discovery, implementation activities, industry conferences, and related business needs. Travel is expected to average approximately 25% based on business needs.
Internal Mapping: This role aligns to the internal job profile of Senior Analyst, Business Integrations within the M&A and Integrations job family. 
Physical Requirements: 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Walk (occasionally), sit- up to 8hrs. a day, stand (occasionally), use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, able to lift up to 15lbs.(occasionally).

Job Pay Range
