The Job At-A-Glance:
The Q2 organization has a new career opportunity available for a Business Development Channel Manager. This key individual will be ideally situated in a “new business” development role responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic distribution partnerships for ClickSWITCH, Centrix, BaaS, Gro, and Cloud Lending products within Q2. This candidate will work closely with Sales and the broader Business Development team to drive distribution of Q2 technologies, assets and solutions into Fintechs and Financial Institutions driving greater revenue opportunities for Q2.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience specifically within the Fintech and Financial Services space, and have the ability to secure strategic distribution partnerships. Candidate will work closely with internal and external constituents to drive meaningful 3rd party revenue through outbound distribution efforts.
Q2 is excited to meet candidates that will add value to the organization through previous Business Development “Channel Management” experience having managed and developed distribution (reseller) partnerships in the broader Financial Services space.
A Typical Day:
Collaborate with internal Product and Sales and teams to identify, prioritize and procure strategic distribution partnerships
Establish and grow multi-tiered business relationships between important distributors, resellers and systems integrators which guides the partner to preferred commitment around Q2 products, technologies and services
Create revenue forecasts, generate “go-to-market” strategies and launch processes
Manage entire partnering process and effectively negotiate distribution agreements to closure
Manage existing portfolio of Channel Partners to maximize yield and generate growth
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree
with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales experience strongly preferred
Financial Services software and/or banking experience preferred
Proven ability to prospect, overcome objections, negotiate, and close complex software sales
Strong Microsoft Office and Salesforce skills
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
