The Sr. Associate for the Veeva Platform is responsible for delivering Veeva solutions, managing system architecture, and ensuring compliance with industry practices while driving project development with a focus on stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement.

Within Digital R&D, the Veeva Platform & Services function is responsible for defining the strategy and leading the delivery of the Veeva product suite to end users of Veeva products within Digital R&D. This includes the operation, implementation, and integration of Veeva platform solutions that address R&D business processes effectively. Veeva solutions include Regulatory - RIM (Registrations, Submissions, and Publishing), Clinical (CTMS, eTMF, Study Start Up, and Site Connect), and Quality (QMS and Quality Docs).
Your role as Veeva Platform Sr. Associate involves building the foundation of the Veeva Platform, including delivery of projects and enhancements with best-in-class quality at enterprise scale across Pfizer R&D. This includes the focus on UI, Mobile, Tools, Veeva ID, etc. As a Veeva solution specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solution architecture, system administration, security, and procedures across the Veeva Vault Platform.
To excel in this role, you should have strong system architecture knowledge and experience driving technical projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and delivery of high-value Veeva Platform solutions according to business requirements, using Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Monitor and document product development of the Veeva Platform according to defined technology roadmaps.
- Develop project plans and prioritization based on business value and ROI, while escalating budget and resource needs to higher-level leadership for approval.
- Conduct and document thorough testing and debugging of digital solutions to identify and resolve any technical issues or performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, security protocols, and industry best practices related to Veeva implementation and deployment.
- Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback to ensure continuous improvement of Veeva platform products.
- Assist with change management across Pfizer R&D, communicating clearly with stakeholders to drive clarity and consensus.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience OR a bachelors degree with at least 3 years of experience OR Masters with more than 1 year of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience as an individual contributor/practitioner.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in Veeva Implementation, program management, business analysis, and/or cloud implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to debug and optimize simple/medium complexity applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging, and user-friendly experiences.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management practices.
