  • Design, configure, implement, and enhance solutions within Oracle Fusion SCM, including use of standard capabilities, customizations, scripting, APIs, and Oracle-native extension patterns.

  • Own solution design across core processes spanning planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, order management, and partner connectivity.

  • Lead the design, implementation support, and configuration of Oracle Cloud supply chain solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and long-term architectural direction.

  • Serve as the Oracle subject matter expert for engineers building custom applications and external integrations, advising on system capabilities, data models, integration touchpoints, and the right architectural patterns for building around Oracle.

  • Drive integration and data architecture for external partners including contract manufacturers, 3PL warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, and retail / B2B customers.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions, technical designs, process flows, and implementation patterns that align with long-term architectural direction.

  • Drive architecture improvements that reduce process variation, close control gaps, improve process agility, and create measurable business value.

  • Support accountability for data migration, testing, deployment readiness, production support, issue triage, and change control across business-critical supply chain applications.

  • Lead preparation of key documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, configuration guides, user guides, UAT definitions, and success metrics.

  • Partner across business and technical teams to influence decisions, build trust, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.

You might thrive in this role if you

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain systems, enterprise applications, ERP platforms.

  • Deep hands-on expertise across Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including configuration, solution implementation, and platform-level design.

  • Strong experience designing and implementing solutions inside Oracle using configuration, extensions, scripting, APIs, and related Oracle capabilities.

  • Strong domain expertise across planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, order management, and broader supply chain operations.

  • Strong understanding of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay process flows and how they intersect with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

  • Experience working with external supply chain partners such as contract manufacturers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, carriers, and retail / B2B customers.

  • Proven ability to act as a senior Oracle design authority for business stakeholders and engineers building custom applications and external integrations.

  • Strong experience defining complex application, data, and integration designs across enterprise systems landscapes.

  • Experience supporting testing, cutover, change control, and production issue resolution for business-critical systems.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical partners.

  • A track record of delivering high-quality outcomes while meeting time, budget, and business commitments.

  • Experience working in fast-growing, global companies with complex operational and systems needs.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
