Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$51,000 - $121,000

The Analyst-Financial Operations will perform the following duties:

•    Month-end close activities including accrual analysis, recording of journal vouchers and reporting activities to management.
•    Variance analysis and forecast activities on expenses, absorption and use yield for areas under responsibility.
•    Support development of the Annual Business Plan- including product cost standards, updating raw and pack yields- master recipes, labor rates and working with operations and engineering to ensure integrity of product standard cost for areas under responsibility.
•    Identify and initiate process improvements in the financial planning and reporting systems.
•    Help identify and quantify savings obtained from Continuous Improvement and Production teams initiatives
•    Complete financial analysis/scenario studies.
•    Be an active member and contributor to the site leadership team, including training and feedback to users of financial information and support of frontline leaders.
•    Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate requirements and good business practice.
•    Oversee and ensure inventory controls are working effectively.
•    Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. 
•    Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance or Accounting, preferable)
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Manufacturing accounting experience, preferable
