Sony Pictures Television Studios (SPTS) is one of the industry’s leading content providers, producing programming worldwide across genres and platforms. The SPT Marketing Organization at Sony Pictures Television supports the entire lifecycle of our series, from supporting the initial sale with pitch materials, to collaborating with first window network partners on marketing campaigns, to creating and managing marketing assets with Distribution teams.
The Sr Administrative Assistant Marketing provides administrative support to the SVP Creative Marketing and VP Marketing Strategy. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who can anticipate the needs of the executives to keep the department on track.
Responsibilities
- Provide organizational and administrative support to executives on the team, anticipating needs of the executives and always being two steps ahead
- Schedule/Calendar/Phone management; keep execs on schedule
- Oversee setup and manage any meetings held by SVP and VP
- Maintain meeting notes when necessary
- Coordinate travel, visas, schedules, and other travel logistics
- Manage calendar and activities (Setting meetings, Call list, etc.)
- Generate travel and expense reports
- Report back to SVP and VP with detailed notes/updates following any absence
- Proactively provide solutions to schedule conflicts or other issues
- Create and maintain global contacts
- Invoice tracking & processing
- Ordering office supplies
- Create and update presentations, letters, and other forms of management reports and communications
- Internet research
- Special projects as required
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet savvy)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Superb organizational and time management skills
- Proactive and thorough in their approach
- Takes responsibility and ownership for tasks
- Can work independently to achieve goals and has a positive attitude
- Has a global perspective and appreciation for cultural differences
- Excellent oral (professional and friendly demeanor) and written (spelling, punctuation, grammar) communications skills
- Able to multi-task and work well with others
- Discretion and integrity
- At ease in fast-paced, high energy, ever-changing work environment
- In Depth knowledge of the television/entertainment industry
- Prior experience in entertainment preferred, particularly at an agency
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
