WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Sportswear Brand Marketing Specialist II for Los Angeles, you will be part of the LA Brand Marketing team, reporting directly to the LA Sportswear Brand Marketing Sr. Manager. You will work cross‑functionally with North America Brand Marketing, and key LA offense partners across Energy, Basketball, Running, Sports, and Training. You will also collaborate closely with Marketplace, Digital, Communications, and Retail Brand teams to drive integrated consumer plans.
This role requires building strong internal relationships and maintaining external connections with agency partners, community organizations, creators, and cultural voices who help bring LA Sportswear to life.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the LA Sportswear Brand Marketing Specialist II, you will support the development and execution of seasonal Sportswear plans that strengthen brand heat, fuel consumer demand, and deepen Nike’s connection to LA culture. You will also work closely with sport partners across Basketball, Running, Soccer, Football, Energy, and Training to ensure Sportswear is intentionally integrated into key sport moments and consumer journeys throughout the city. 
You will be responsible for:
• Seasonal Plan Support: Assist in building and executing seasonal Sportswear brand plans, ensuring alignment with NA partners while tailoring stories to the LA consumer.
• Cross‑Functional Integration: Partner with LA functional teams (Basketball, Running, Soccer, Training, Football, Energy, Retail, Digital, Communications) to bring campaigns to life through coordinated timelines, deliverables, and project management.
• Partnership Support: Help identify and manage relationships with LA communities, creators, athletes, and organizations that embody Sportswear values and can amplify our stories.
• Consumer Insight Gathering: Continuously gather insights from LA youth culture, sport style communities, and marketplace trends; synthesize and share learnings with NA and larger LA Brand Marketing team. 
• Product Integration: Support product seeding, sourcing, and allocation needs across internal and external partners to ensure Sportswear moments are fueled with the right product.
• Campaign Execution: Assist in developing content, storytelling, and on‑the‑ground activations that resonate with LA Sportswear consumers.
• Agency Collaboration: Brief and support external agencies, ensuring clarity of objectives, timelines, and creative direction.
• Operational Excellence: Manage project trackers, timelines, budgets, recaps, and workflow tools to ensure efficient and high‑quality execution.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, brand management, or cultural marketing (sport, fashion, streetwear, youth culture preferred).
• Strong understanding of LA youth culture, sport style communities, and the cultural ecosystem across fashion, streetwear, art, design, and music.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns from planning through execution, with clear examples of delivering against objectives and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort navigating cross‑functional environments.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and apply consumer insights to strengthen brand plans.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and executional excellence.
• Passion for sport, style, creativity, and the role they play in shaping youth identity.
• Alignment with Nike’s Maxims and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
