Spectrum News RSN Internship - Summer 2026

At a Glance
Put your sports producing skills to work covering live sports in Los Angeles. Timed alongside marquee events, this 10-week internship supports the Spectrum SportsNet and SportsNet LA teams in Los Angeles. Interns work directly with Spectrum professionals, contributing to real-time sports production throughout the season.
You'll join one of our bullpen for the summer, where you will build a strong understanding of producing, and other departments that are of interest to you.

• Cover the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum SportsNet LA
• Assist with production and live broadcasts
• Collaborate with anchors, producers, editors, and teams across platforms
• Build connections with our team members who can help you better understand what our business looks like and what it's like to work here
• Gain exposure to the control room, learn from editors, and understand pre- and post-production for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers

Qualifications

• Rising senior enrolled at Syracuse University
• Major in sports journalism or a related field
• Strong academic performance
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
