The Specialist, Website Management will serve as a core member of the Direct-to-Consumer Marketing team, where we are laser-focused on driving transformational growth for the firm. Our primary website—www.merceradvisors.com—and our suite of microsites are critical engines of that growth, serving as key acquisition channels and essential touchpoints for prospects and clients. In this role, the Specialist will contribute to ensuring these digital properties remain accurate, optimized, high-performing, and continuously improving to deliver a best-in-class experience for every visitor. 

This position is responsible for maintaining, updating, and optimizing site content in partnership with stakeholders across the marketing organization. The Specialist must be highly organized and able to manage a steady flow of daily tasks, updates, and requests from multiple teams. The Specialist will collaborate closely with content creators, compliance partners, SEO team members, marketing stakeholders, and the development team to publish new articles, images, landing pages, and multimedia experiences in alignment with brand standards and site objectives. By ensuring the site stays fresh, functional, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, this role will directly contribute to the firm’s growth and digital marketing success. 

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:  

Website Maintenance & Administration 

  • Regularly update and maintain the WordPress website and supporting microsites to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and security. 
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of all CMS driven components, ensuring content is current, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. 
  • Partner with the development team to identify, log, and resolve technical issues that may affect performance or user experience. 

Content Management & Publishing 

  • Upload, format, edit, and publish content—including text, images, videos, documents, and landing experiences—ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. 
  • Coordinate daily content and update requests from multiple marketing stakeholders, maintaining clear organization, prioritization, and tracking of tasks. 
  • Work with SEO specialists to optimize content for search visibility, incorporating keyword strategies, metadata improvements, and SEO-driven enhancements. 

Plugin, Theme & CMS Configuration 

  • Install, update, and configure WordPress plugins and themes as needed to support new features and maintain site functionality. 
  • Monitor CMS health, page load performance, and ensure compatibility across plugins, components, and templates following updates or site changes. 

User & Internal Team Support 

  • Serve as the primary internal resource for website-related requests across the marketing team. 
  • Establish and/or provide guidance on CMS processes, content standards, and publishing workflows to help stakeholders execute updates efficiently and accurately. 

Platforms & Tools 

  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress; familiarity with WP Engine or similar hosting and optimization environments. 
  • Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience using tools like Monday.com, Workzone, or comparable project tracking and workflow management platforms. 
  • Analytics & Testing Tools: Proficiency with digital analytics and experimentation platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and other A/B or multivariate testing tools. 

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
