OVERVIEW
The SEO Specialist works with the Associate Director and broader Search Department to help understand consumer search intent and identify the best approach to organically capture it for our clients. This team member will expand upon their existing foundation of SEO concepts and apply best practices in keyword research, on-site optimization recommendations, and reporting for a leading brand. They will also work with cutting-edge GEO/AEO tools to increase client visibility in LLMs and generative AI sources.
Planning:
- Draft keyword research for new and existing products
- Assist in prioritizing keywords and mapping keywords to website content
- Assist in evaluating website content for opportunities to improve performance across search engines and generative AI models
Optimization & Reporting:
- Draft creative recommendations for website and video content, including metadata, alt text, descriptions, etc.
- Provide support in technical SEO/GEO/AEO projects including schema markup, XML sitemap updates, etc.
- Assist the team with monitoring organic search & AI trends, as well as reviewing insights for clients
- Use website analytics and SEO tools to help pull data and craft presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Familiarity with major AI platforms and basics of how LLMs work
- 1-3 years of experience in an SEO-related position
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Excel formulas and functions
- Experience with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, & Semrush is a plus
- Google Analytics certification is a plus
- Basic web development languages such as HTML, JavaScript, JSON-LD a plus
Yearly Salary - $69,000
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
In-Office Work Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
