WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Soccer Specialist to join our Men’s Brand Management team in Los Angeles. This role will focus on supporting the marketplace amplification, strategy & execution of Global and North America Soccer priority concepts in the city. The Men’s Brand Marketing Soccer specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing work that serves both our multi-year and seasonal brand plans.

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking and curious, can balance projects that require senior guidance and professional autonomy, is attune to our ever-evolving consumer trends, and has deep knowledge of the soccer landscape in Los Angeles, North America, and beyond. This individual will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross functional partners across the city, geo and global teams.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Men’s Brand Marketing Specialist for Soccer in Los Angeles, you are responsible for contributing to and supporting key workstreams that make our brand, product, and services resonate with our Soccer consumer, while driving a networked offense across Global, Geo and City Teams.

As the Men’s Brand Marketing Soccer Brand Specialist in LA, you will:

  • Support and drive the implementation of seasonal integrated marketing plans
  • Foster collaboration with our key cross-functional partners
  • Oversee product sourcing, management, and integration into all relevant programming
  • Execute an end-to-end process (from insight to activation), with strong organizational skills
  • Compile and synthesize consumer and market insights
  • Help manage relationships with key consumer, community and grassroots Soccer organizations
  • Partner with key cross-functional team members to define, adapt, extend, and execute physical and digital consumer experiences
  • Leverage Nike-owned and third partner tools for project management needs
  • Work back with finance and brand planning to track expenses against budget allocations

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Passion for Soccer and understanding of the culture and community around the game.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 1-3 years’ experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and/or digital brand marketing
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A willingness to learn, innovate, and take on new challenges.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills that will serve both internal and external partners
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal/presentation skills.
  • Experience working within teams and a team-first mentality, but still has the ability to work autonomously when required
  • Digital marketing acumen and creator-led content experience
  • Curiosity, creativity, and adaptability
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  • Detail oriented nature across workstreams large and small
