The Opportunity
Global Corporate Events Specialist role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of various corporate events. We are looking for a creative and organized Specialist to support the planning and execution of high-impact events across Netflix. This role will support events across multiple teams. In this role, you’ll assist in ideating and producing global corporate events. 

Sometimes working under the guidance of event leads and sometimes leading independently on scaled events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead various aspects of event production including but not limited to creative design, sourcing venues and vendor research and contract negotiation.

  • Work cross-functionally with key partners and stakeholders (travel, security, health & safety teams, workplace, etc).

  • Manage attendee experience and operations holistically.

  • Managing end-to-end event production, including budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination

  • Identify opportunities to better scale our events. 

  • Own post-event analysis; gathering feedback and evaluating the success of events based on established goals.

  • Maintaining event standards and up-leveling based on feedback and past events.
     

What You’ll Need:

  • Direct experience working on a wide range of events, both large and small scale.

  • Strong communication skills and highly organized 

  • Project management experience with the ability to actively manage/execute numerous projects at one time and reprioritize.

  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • Proven track record of delivering events on time and within budget.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%).

  • The desire to consistently innovate, proactively bringing new ideas to the table – both strategically and in execution.

  • A creative thinker who can problem solve and work independently. 
     

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of event experience, preferably the majority of that experience at a tech company or studio. 

  • Experience supporting events  of various sizes, ideally both internal and external events

  • Clear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Existing relationships with vendors and venues, primarily in the LA area.

Skills:

  • A team player who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong follow-through.

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented — someone who takes initiative and asks smart questions.

  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.

  • Able to communicate clearly via email, decks, in-person, and over Google Meet..

  • Comfortable supporting events that may occur outside of standard business hours.

  • Curious, creative, and excited about entertainment 

  • Familiar with or eager to learn Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other project tools.

  • Confident working with external vendors and representing Netflix values and tone.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
