The Special Requests Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, administration, and continuous improvement of the SIS ESU Special Requests and Quick Reaction Team (QRT) deployment function. This role serves as the primary operational lead for urgent, non-routine, and short-notice requests requiring rapid staffing support, deployment planning, travel coordination, billing setup, and cross-functional follow-through. This position manages the full lifecycle of special requests from intake through completion, including request review, staffing coordination, deployment support, travel and lodging arrangements, billing structure creation, timekeeping alignment, invoicing support, and post-deployment reconciliation. In addition to supporting urgent operational needs, the Special
Requests Program Coordinator is responsible for improving workflows, maintaining administrative controls, and helping ensure the ESU program remains responsive, organized, and operationally ready. The role works closely with ESU leadership, regional operations personnel, field ODOs, payroll, finance, and client stakeholders to ensure special requests and QRT deployments are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with program expectations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, criminal justice, public administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
● Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in operations coordination, project management, workforce deployment, security operations, law enforcement administration, and emergency operations support, or a similarly fast-paced operational environment.
● Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, urgent requests, and time-sensitive assignments in a high-tempo setting.
● Experience with workforce management, scheduling, payroll, billing, or operations tracking systems such as Paycom, Airtable, or similar platforms.
● Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
● Domestic Travel up to 20% of time required
● Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to respond to needs outside of regular office hours
