We are currently seeking Spanish Speaking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) preferably with homecare experience to work within our clients’ homes providing direct patient care.

Following a physician established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, our Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) provide and instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. As a Maxim LVN you will assess and record symptoms and/or reactions, progress in your patient(s), administer medications, and assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician’s established plan of treatment. Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities.

• We are currently looking for Full Time/Part Time Spanish-speaking nurses.

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Fluent, or at least proficient, in speaking and writing the Spanish language.
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred
• One (1) year working with homecare patients on a ventilator, a PLUS. Must be able to relay information about the ventilator you have worked on.
• Current CPR certification
• Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements
• Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray
• Reliable transportation
