ESG supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains, and is an extremely fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies including the X-37B, the world's first fully autonomous reusable spaceplane, which is currently performing its eighth mission.

Position Responsibilities:
- Have a working knowledge of harness design and construction and be familiar with the concepts of SAE AS50881, Wiring Aerospace Vehicle and NASA-STD 8739.4, CRIMPING, INTERCONNECTING CABLES, HARNESSES, AND WIRING
- Have the ability to work on a variety of projects at different phases of design maturity, from conceptual to operational
- Work closely with harness routers to integrate logical elements with the physical elements to produce a harness that will install and function properly at the next assembly
- Be familiar with program software design and release tools: Teamcenter and Mentor Graphics
- Performance of Response Engineer (RE) responsibilities with a willingness to "own the hardware" for all phases of the harness life cycle
- Work with suppliers and spacecraft factory operations in the procurement and refurbishment of spacecraft system for upcoming missions
- Provide engineering oversight of harness integration and functional testing on the spacecraft
- Work directly with manufacturing engineers, planners and technicians to plan and execute integration and test activity
- Develop harness specifications and test procedures
- Read and interpret complex heritage drawings and coordinate revisions and configuration changes with the design team as need to support future missions
- Perform real time trouble shooting and issue resolution, including the disposition of non-conformances (NCs)
