OVERVIEW:

Alo Yoga is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sourcing Data Anaylst to lead our textile and fabric sourcing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the procurement of high-quality, sustainable, and innovative materials for our apparel collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile sourcing within the fashion industry, combined with advanced skills in data visualization and analysis to drive decision-making and optimize supply chain efficiency. 

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Sourcing & Procurement: 

  • Lead the sourcing strategy for textiles and fabrics, focusing on quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency. 
  • Establish and manage relationships with fabric suppliers and mills globally, ensuring alignment with Alo Yoga’s sustainability and ethical production goals. 
  • Collaborate closely with design, product development, and production teams to identify new materials that align with the brand’s aesthetic and performance standards. 

Supplier Management: 

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions. 
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, sustainability, and delivery expectations. 
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to maintain ethical standards and mitigate risks

Data Analysis & Visualization: 

  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to track material performance, forecast demand, and manage fabric inventory. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key sourcing metrics, such as lead times, supplier reliability, material quality, and cost breakdowns. 
  • Leverage data to identify sourcing opportunities, predict trends, and support long-term strategic decision-making. 

Sustainability & Innovation: 

  • Identify and source eco-friendly and innovative materials that align with Alo Yoga’s sustainability commitments. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and recommending new technologies and fabric developments that enhance product performance and sustainability. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner with the product development and design teams to align material choices with product vision and performance requirements. 
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline material logistics and improve lead times. 

Budgeting & Reporting: 

  • Manage the raw material budget, ensuring cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality or sustainability. 
  • Provide regular reports on sourcing performance, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier performance metrics to senior leadership. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Textiles, Business, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in raw material sourcing within the fashion industry, preferably focused on textiles and fabrics. 
  • Strong knowledge of fabric properties, textile sourcing, and sustainable sourcing practices. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI, with the ability to visualize and communicate data insights effectively. 
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing global supplier relationships. 
  • Strong understanding of sustainability trends and the ability to source eco-friendly materials. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. 

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$135,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
