WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Cost Negotiation: Lead negotiations for favorable pricing and incentives to optimize cost savings.
- Competitive Bidding & Sourcing: Conduct RFQs to competitively bid out existing business across multiple product categories.
- Product & Market Analysis: Evaluate market trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor offerings to inform sourcing decisions.
- Alternative Product Evaluation: Identify and assess alternative products or suppliers that meet technical and performance specifications to reduce cost or mitigate risk.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track key sourcing metrics and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- A history of academic and professional success
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, research, attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Eagerness to learn new things, adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset
