This role will work with the Value Steam Leader and manufacturing to monitor operations schedule, monitor cost, aid in proposal preparation and approval, interface with the customer, present program status to leadership and other duties as assigned.

This role will work with the Value Steam Leader and manufacturing to monitor operations schedule, monitor cost, aid in proposal preparation and approval, interface with the customer, present program status to leadership and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders (manufacturing, finance, etc.) to ensure production schedule is maximizing available resources and our business plan
- Manage rolling 12-18 month production schedule for associate programs available for pricing new business, internal financial forecast, headcount forecasts, etc.
- Work with manufacturing counterpart to develop details metrics and shop floor goals that will meet IBP/QBR forecasts.
- Ensure proposed work fits in available production schedule
- Serve as first level BAE Systems point of contact for customer on assigned programs
- When necessary, develop talking points to explain to customers the reason for pricing that is not meeting their expectations or significantly out of line with historical information.
- Support development of BOE, along with manufacturing and price estimating
- Assist in Request for Bid Approval process for existing programs, firm, follow-on, etc.
- Provide regular reports to the Value Steam Leader on program status
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years work experience or equivalent education/experience
- Experience in working in a matrix environment
- Experience in program management, program controls or lifecycle management (LCM)
- Experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience in presenting work output to all levels of management
- Ability to monitor performance through KPIs and metrics and identify risk and opportunity
- Ability to build relationships with customers and instill confidence in business capabilities
- Strong computer application skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with energetics, munitions, defense articles a plus
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent
- Preferred experienced with Power BI, metrics building and analytics
- Prefer experience with SQL databases, programming, advanced data manipulation
- Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM) or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Experience in Manufacturing with an understanding of production processes, quality control and lean manufacturing
- Experience in data analytics, data visualization or reporting skills
