About the team

We are looking for a passionate Sr. Technical Sales Operations Manager to join our Technical Field Operations Ops team within HashiCorp. Our team is a group of data-driven problem solvers designed to support high-priority initiatives and track the performance results of our worldwide technical field teams. This role focuses specifically on the pre-sales side of the business and will enable overall efficiency and productivity of the Solutions Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams, ultimately contributing to top-line revenue growth and cost/risk reduction across the organization.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • Own the strategic, operational relationship with our senior technical sales leaders and cross-functional alignment of our data, systems, and key business partners (Sales, RevOps, Finance, etc.)
  • Responsible for the accuracy and governance of how our data is communicated across the organization and maintained in systems (presentations, CRMs, etc.)
  • Deep dive regularly into metrics to identify trends, opportunities and issues
  • Collaborate with the analytics and integrations team to design dashboards and reporting mechanisms that enable data readiness and availability
  • Provide data-based insights and recommendations to support projects, initiatives, and overall best practices
  • Partner cross-functionally to maintain and improve systems and tooling used worldwide

What you’ll need (basic qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or business operations
  • Ideal experience is in Technology Sales, Sales Operations or GTM operations
  • Excellent Salesforce (SFDC) skills and working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Sigma
  • Knowledge of how other tools integrate with SFDC such as Vivun, Clari, Gainsight, or similar overlay tools designed to scale pre- and post-sales work streams
  • Ability to analyze large and complex data sets
  • System administration experience (SFDC, Vivun, Gainsight)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Google Suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills

What's nice to have (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience directly supporting Solutions Engineering as well as overlay teams such as Solutions Architecture
  • Knowledge of both pre- and post-sales (SE, TAM/CS, PS, etc.) is a plus

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.

The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:

$164,700$193,800 USD

The base pay range for this role in California (excluding SF Bay Area), New York (excluding NYC), Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, Washington D.C., or Maryland is:

$151,000$177,700 USD

The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro), Illinois, Minnesota, or Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:

$137,300$161,500 USD
