As a Software Engineer in the Investment Results domain you’ll build, maintain, and refine high-performance, scalable systems while collaborating with the development team, partner IT teams, and business stakeholders to enable solutions at Capital Group.  You'll provide reasoned recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power.

From custom full-stack applications and cloud solutions to original and developing technology products and services, you will address challenges at their core. You will develop products, services, and experiences that disrupt markets, generate value, and positively impact millions of lives.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 

  • You have at least 2 years of software engineering experience with expertise in: SQL, .NET, Python, Angular, HTML/CSS, Typescript, REST API services, AWS experience preferred.

  • You’re thoughtful in your approach to software engineering practices. You have an agile mindset which enables a future-ready, high-quality, and responsive code base. 

  • You put Production first and have experience solving Production issues with risk-based decision making.

  • You have experience performing analysis on application data to thoughtfully answer user inquiries for both troubleshooting and requirements forming purposes.

  • You have a foundation of technical ability, business acumen, organizational skills, and a desire to be a continuous learner.

  • You have ability to learn new technologies and business areas quickly to provide informed guidance to our business stakeholders.

  • You have demonstrated skills in collaboration, requirements gathering, testing, managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, and influencing outcomes.

  • You are a team player with a great attitude and passion towards your work.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $96,120-$153,792

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
