Overview:
The Solutions Consultant is a pivotal individual contributor role focused on delivering innovative, client-centered solutions to support business growth and enhance client satisfaction. This role combines strategic problem-solving, deep market research expertise, and operational excellence to address client needs effectively. As a key contributor, the Solutions Consultant plays a vital role in advancing the company’s market position through expert guidance and tailored solutions. The role partners closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer Experience teams to drive revenue by demonstrating the value of the company’s customer insights and research technology. This role combines technical expertise, storytelling, and consultative selling to help clients design and implement programs that deliver actionable business insights.
Location: Los Angeles
Work Arrangement: This is an onsite role requiring four days per week in the office, with one flexible remote day each week based on team needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Enablement
Partner with Account Executives during discovery to understand client business needs, research methodologies, and strategic priorities.
Translate client challenges into tailored platform solutions, showing how the company’s SaaS offering supports market research, CX/UX studies, and audience engagement.
Deliver engaging product demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and proposals aligned with customer goals.
Develop and present customized solution architectures, data flows, and integrations with clients’ existing systems (e.g., CRM, analytics tools).
Support RFP/RFI responses and provide domain expertise in research design, automation, and insight generation.
Technical & Product Expertise
Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, and research tools (e.g., survey automation, community management, qualitative modules).
Work with Product Management to provide field feedback and influence roadmap prioritization.
Assist in onboarding new customers by ensuring seamless handoff to Implementation or Success teams.
Thought Leadership & Consulting
Advise clients on research best practices (quantitative and qualitative), data collection methods, and automation of insight processes.
Create and deliver solution playbooks, use cases, and ROI analyses demonstrating the business impact of insights programs.
Serve as a trusted advisor, helping prospects modernize how they collect and act on customer and market feedback.

What you’ll bring:
3–7 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Research Consulting within a SaaS or insights-tech company.
Strong understanding of market research methodologies (surveys, communities, panels, qualitative insights, etc.).
Experience working with enterprise clients in industries such as retail, technology, financial services, or healthcare.
Technical proficiency with SaaS platforms, APIs, data integrations, and visualization tools.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills—comfortable in front of both business and technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Marketing Research) a plus.

Compensation Overview:
The expected starting salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. This range represents the typical starting compensation offered to candidates hired into this role. Final base salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for sales commission, and may include an equity grant or purchase option. These components make up your total compensation package, which will be reviewed in greater detail during your initial recruiter conversation.
