Unleash AI Innovators, Securely

Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it.

Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.

Job Summary

As a Solutions Architect at Snyk, you will work with enterprise customers to design, implement, and scale secure development solutions, from CI/CD pipeline integrations to DevSecOps adoption. You will support customers across both pre-sales and post-sales, building strong technical relationships and helping teams get lasting value from the Snyk platform. As AI agents write more of the world's code, you will help customers put security directly into the workflows where that code is built and shipped.

About the Team

The Solutions Architecture team is part of Snyk's Technical Solutions organization and works with enterprise accounts across the full customer lifecycle. We partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to turn customer requirements into reference architectures and working solutions. Senior team members mentor and coach as you grow. This role is remote within the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build CI/CD workflow integrations that bring application security into software delivery pipelines and developer environments.

  • Run discovery sessions and architecture workshops with customer teams to understand requirements and align the Snyk platform to them, in both pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

  • Build and present technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions that show customers the value of Snyk.

  • Support customer implementations and rollouts by troubleshooting integrations and guiding teams through best practices.

  • Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders such as engineering leads, DevOps engineers, and security practitioners inside your accounts.

  • Partner with Product by sharing field feedback and helping prototype solutions for common customer needs.

  • Use AI tools to speed up configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting for your customers and your team.

  • Contribute to reference architectures, documentation, and internal knowledge sharing, and learn from senior Solutions Architects as you take on more complex engagements.

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in technical consulting, software implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, with experience delivering cloud solutions for business customers.

  • Hands-on coding ability in Shell, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Working knowledge of git-based SCM tools and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

  • A solid understanding of software development, the SDLC, and DevOps and DevSecOps concepts.

  • Comfort with the Unix/Linux command line, and experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

  • Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to present your work to a panel of peers.

  • Working fluency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Gemini in your day-to-day work.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or IT Security, or equivalent experience.

  • Nice to have: experience in a technical implementation or support role for an AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps product or service.

  • Nice to have: contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
