Solution Strategist

What you’ll do for us 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for business/data requirements.

  • Ensure business processes developed from business/data requirement documentation adhere to industry best practices and align with client objectives and business models.

  • Oversee collection and analysis of necessary data from sources like ERP systems, PLM systems, databases, Excel sheets, emails, and others. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data collected.

  • Support Project Management and Client Management teams with capability listings, and effort estimates for PMs and CMs to define project scope, timelines, and execute sign- offs with customers.

  • Serve as a lead and manage the technical design documentation process.

  • Oversee and review the work of Solution Architects and Consultants to develop the clear functional and technical design, document data requirements, and build complex datasets.

  • Oversee tool configuration in the o9 platform, as per the design, to solve deep operations/supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring systems.

  • Work with internal research and development teams to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes in the customer environment.

  • Work with client, cross-functional teams, and IT and business stakeholders, to ensure successful planning and execution of the project.

  • Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for a global user base.

  • Track deliverables and ensure sign off from all agreed upon stakeholders.

  • Manage and mentor Solution Architects, Junior Analysts, Technical Architects, and Business Analysts to familiarize them with technical and business aspects of a project.

  • Assess project performance and document lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge

  • Ensure solutions team adheres to o9 methodologies and quality standards.

What you’ll have

  • Experience: 6+ Years. implementing supply chain planning solutions or working in the supply chain/ logistics organization.Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.

  • Experience in planning systems, and exposure to ERP tools

  • Firsthand experience leading a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution Implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, go- live/cutover and value realization.

  • Experience using agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations

  • Education: Education: Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience or Bachelor Degree with 8 years’ experience required. Degrees in the following fields: Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration with concentrated coursework and supply chain or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics

Skills: 

  • Deep knowledge of best practices in supply chain planning & optimization is required

  • Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts, processes, organization and KPIs is required

  • Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional, interdepartmental teams and technical resources to meet goals is required

  • Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R, SAS, CPLEX or similar is preferred

  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), document processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) is preferred

  • Strong analytical techniques, data mining knowledge and proficiency in handling and processing large amounts of data is required

  • Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is required 

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration / training skills are preferred

  • Ability to communicate mathematical, technical or software usage concepts to audiences with limited prior mathematics, technical or software background is required

  • Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones and at executive and junior levels in a corporate hierarchy required.

This position at o9 Solutions has an annual salary range of $195,263-$268,486. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in our medical, retirement, and other company-sponsored benefits.**The above information reflects the expected base salary range, although the lower and upper bounds may vary based on location, skills, experience, certifications, licenses, or other relevant factors.
