About this opportunity:
We are looking for a RAN Design & Optimization Expert role in Egypt. Within the Solution Area Cognitive Networks Solutions Software R&D (SA CNS SW R&D), we offer the opportunity to collaborate with highly qualified teams all around the world and enable success stories for our customers. You will be working with groundbreaking technology (5G, ML/AI, GenAI, Automation and Cloud computing) and will be involved in defining and developing innovative software for Network-design and optimization services. Currently looking for top-tier professionals with wide expertise and experience in radio network design and optimization, ML , Cloud Computing and a track record of consulting activities with customers.
What you will do:

• Guide Software development teams from NDO / RAN domain point of view: defining practical NDO frameworks and algorithms that provide customer value and showcase domain expertise leadership, evaluate algorithms and models results from a practical NDO domain perspective and extracting right insights and conclusions to improve them.
• Understand the product code architecture, envision, and craft new NDO use cases and leads the end-to-end development together with the Technical Lead for those.
• Implement and develop domain aspects into prototypes together with the development team.
• Verification of results from domain view and definition of practical ways of introducing the outputs generated by the products into customer NDO processes.
• Analyze and visualize data to define work activities and provide deep NDO mentorship and explanations to the team.
• Lead Proof of Concept, trials and support FOA Activities
• Support the NDO tool introductions and operation transformations of our customers. Consult technical staff and senior management in customer organizations to understand their requirements.
• Leading UX Programs and ensure the best UI is delivered to our Customers.
• Knowledge ramp-up for Developers/Data Scientists In RAN both from Domain and Business Perspectives.

The skills you bring:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• The successful applicant must have deep technical skills, expertise, and experience in radio-network design and optimization, including a track record of consulting activities with customers.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in radio access network design and optimization, recognized as a top technical expert in their area of expertise within their company, Strong analytical skills. Passionate about growing in ML and Artificial Intelligence areas.
• Deep NDO expertise in 5G and 4G. It would be an advantage also to know Cloud-RAN and/or O-RAN.
• Experienced level of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies. Hands-on Experience would be highly regarded.
• Descent Experience in Python coding is mandatory, where source control via Git and GenAI Knowledge would be a plus.
• Deep Data Analytics knowledge and advanced deductive analytical logic skills (statistical analysis, statistical tools, methods/processes to analyze data, data correlation) would be highly regarded.
• Experience in Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure, etc., would be a strong asset.
