Thunder's Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with our customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes. Our SAs are responsible for ensuring the solution design and system deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria, while governing the execution of implementation deliverables.

This Solution Architect functions as a liaison between our customer and the Thunder team, translating client requirements into the architecture for key client needs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate previous consulting experience specifically in Agentforce Revenue Management (RCA, CPQ, Billing), and will partner with the Capability Lead to comply with best practices related to solution design, documentation, and guidelines. 

Role + Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for overall Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) solution design and implementation
  • Lead client architecture initiatives from inception to completion, collaborating with business users to create architecture in alignment with business needs
  • Lead business and technology analysis and provide CRM domain expertise
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users, and challenge point of views as necessary
  • Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency (including adding to Thunder’s solutions and accelerators!)
  • Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
  • Mentor Revenue Cloud/CPQ Consultants, and other junior members across Thunder

Required Qualifications
  • 4-6+ years’ of consulting experience within the Salesforce partner/consulting ecosystem
  • 2+ years’ leading projects in the capacity of a Solution Architect within Revenue Cloud, with the demonstrable capability in architecting solutions and solutioning independently for a variety of clients (including complex, Enterprise engagements)
  • Significant knowledge of Salesforce's suite of products, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software, application, and platforms, and working knowledge of business modeling, governance and operations
  • Strong business processes, process documentation, and process improvement skills
  • Willingness to achieve additional certifications on emerging technologies as required per role
  • Required Salesforce Certifications:
    • CPQ Specialist
    • Revenue Cloud Accredited Professional
  • Nice to Have Certifications:
    • Billing Specialist Superbadge
    • Advanced Billing Specialist Superbadge
    • Industries CPQ Developer Certification 
    • OmniStudio Consultant Certification
