About the role:
The Solution Architect supporting Hyperscaler Technology Partners (Microsoft, AWS,and Google) is the strategic leader of our technical relationship with these public cloudproviders. They are a deep technical expert who applies their expertise to support and enable Netskope's customers and prospects to integrate Netskope security cloud solutions with hyperscaler partners across a wide variety of integrations.
As part of the Technology Alliance Team, you will be expected to lead technical aspects of hyperscaler solution and integration exploration. This includes building and designing services that support and enhance Netskope’s products that protect and leverage native hyperscaler services. This will include collaboration with Netskope product management and external partners.
Key deliverables of the role include: Documenting technical architecture and solution requirements, solution implementation and validation, partner execution, partner training and enablement as well as documenting and training solutions for Netskope engineering, Netskope product management, pre and post sales engineers, partners, and customers. This role will work directly with end customers, delivery partners as well as Netskope’s technical field (SEs, SA, TAMs, Professional Services) to help them understand and potentially deploy solutions. However, the primary goal is to
build widespread expertise across Netskope to scale your knowledge horizontally and best support our customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with at least one if not multiple hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft and Google) including understanding of their core security and networking services as well as GenAI solutions. Experience in the Security or Networking field is desired but is not a requirement. The role does require a mix of advanced technical knowledge, an understanding of project management, good communication skills, and desire to learn. In this position you will be working with internal and partner experts to execute technology strategies to meet strategic
corporate and partner needs, present and future.
Responsibilities:
- Help Cloud partners investigate, architect, scope, and build integrations with Netskope in support of customer business needs.
- Be the primary technical interface with AWS, Microsoft and Google. This primarily focuses on Cloud Services, but extends to all Microsoft and Google offerings including areas such as M365, Security Products, Copilot, Google Workspace, Google Cloud Ops and Gemini/Vertex.
- Work closely with our Cloud Partners and their Solution Architects and Sales Engineers to promote and further Netskope's sales growth.
- Become a subject matter expert in hyperscaler integrations you help build or support, including those built by product management
- Work with other Netskope Solution Architects to build out and implement standard processes for working with alliance partners.
- Engage with Solution Architects from other Security and ISV Technology partners to build and integrate solutions with the hyperscalers. (ie Crowdstrike, Okta, Abnormal, Illumio, Extrahop)
- Assist team members by delivering training to Netskope employees and partners.
- Help orient new hyperscaler and internal teams to Netskope integrations, deploy Netskope and test systems for integration development, education, and support
- Assist with demo environments, ensuring partners and internal Netskope teams have the necessary training and technology to demonstrate integrations to future and current joint customers.
- Implement technical enablement plans to bring integrations into a QA and demo environment
- Provide reporting and feedback on partner integrations and supporting documentation
- Participate in events such as security conferences (RSA, BlackHat), Cloud Provider Conferences (re:invent, Ignite, NeXT, Summits) including booth support and presentations at these events.
- Support our partner community via other external events including lunch & learns, Labs, webinars and other partner sponsored events. This may also include on-site and virtual meetings with customers and prospects and presenting with customers and partners.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a security or IT-focused solution architect, sales engineer, product management, and/or similar role
- Technical capability and experience in modern security and IT platforms
- Experience with data consumption capabilities including API’s, scripting, and data exchange formats
- Advanced knowledge of public cloud provider (hyperscaler) architectures and offerings as related to data discovery and classification, networking, network security, risk, identity, and service instantiation, state, and reporting
- Good understanding of GenAI and AI tools as sold/deployed by, for, and in, hyperscalers, including working with Cloudprovider AI tools and services Good knowledge in some of these areas: cloud security, endpoint security, endpoint management, threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, identity protection, data protection, container technology (Docker,
Kubernetes), cloud networking - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong written skills with experience documenting how integrations and interoperability solutions work for internal and external consumption
- Scripting experience in Python, VBScript, Bash, Go, and/or C++
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of and competence using or working with Microsoft Security solutions, especially Identity and data products (AzureAD, Entra, Sentinel)
- Understanding of and competence using or working with AWS Security solutions, (Guardduty, Security Lake, Security Hub)
- Understanding of and competence using or working with Google Security Solutions (Identity, SecOps)
- Experience with RESTful API solutions, especially logs and streaming data sets
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and templates (ARM, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Terraform)
- Business development experience in a consulting and/or services environment
- Experience with Postman, Chef or similar technologies
Education/Travel:
- S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent experience/technical training
- Expected 15-25% of time traveling (Conferences, Customer presentations)
