Labcorp is seeking a US based remote Software Product Manager – Genomic Reporting Systems to join our team!
Position Summary:
Sample to Answer (S2A) is a research, development, and operational platform dedicated to generating high-quality clinical results at scale and advancing the use of genetic information in healthcare, which is part of the Center of Excellence vision at Labcorp. Genetic information is delivered through a number of reporting systems serving multiple lab sites and products. This Product Manager will work with both internal and external tools, maintaining relationships with third party vendors, coordinating purchase orders and volume metrics, guiding the development of several reporting systems, and bridging communication with system users.
Manage vendor relationships, including purchase orders, invoicing, and serving as the communication bridge between external vendors and internal users.
Develop expertise in the Labcorp reporting systems, both internally built and contracted. Understand the current capabilities and existing value of the systems, how they’re used, and where improvements are needed.
Establish and maintain a quarterly roadmap for the reporting systems under the purview of the role, coordinate the execution and release of development work, stay on top of system level product documentation, and incorporate best practices from other teams
Be the gathering point for information and feedback from users and leverage this information to inform program requirements and prioritization
Align releases with standard practices and streamline processes and workflows
Lead programs and/or work with other program managers to ensure efficient execution of quarterly prioritized work
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 4 or more years of experience in genetics or Master’s degree with 2 or more years’ experience in genetics or a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in human genetics or bioinformatics
2 or more years of experience with SQL queries and data analysis
2 or more years of experience with Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or Smartsheet
Additional Job Standards:
Experience with software development projects and working directly with software engineers and/or bioinformaticians.
An action-oriented mindset and an interest in experimentation and iteration
Ability to balance details with big-picture vision
Understanding of genetics tools used in reporting and the type of information included. Technically minded of how data flows through the system.
Ability to work cross-functionally with a diverse group of people, understand and balance many viewpoints, and influence without authority
Ability to demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills

Pay Range: $100k-$125k annually (USD)
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
