Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Responsible for designing and developing configurable products used globally, leveraging Salesforce development experience to architect and design products for global clients. Develop Salesforce apps required for pre-commercial and commercial business processes of life sciences clients, ensuring alignment with business needs. Review code developed by team members, provide technical coaching, and participate in design meetings to discuss and provide feedback on technical designs. Collaborate with the scrum master and dev lead to understand user stories, create detailed technical designs, and develop code using Force.com IDE or Visual Studio Code, Apex, Aura, or Lightning Web Components. Work with testers to ensure code is tested and ready for stakeholder demos, and collaborate with release management to ensure timely and budget-compliant product releases. Mentor junior team members on Salesforce app development, participate in bi-weekly retrospectives, and provide knowledge transfer to geographically distributed teams for feature support. Analyze, diagnose, and fix customer issues, working with a geographically distributed team to ensure effective problem resolution and support. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Lightning applications; (2) Visualforce Pages; (3) Apex classes; (4) Triggers; (5) Spring Frame work; (6)  REST API Controllers; (7) XML; (8) Security Controls; (9) Data Management; (10) Java/Java Script; (11) healthcare and life science industry; (12) agile development. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $206,315.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.
