Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Bellevue, WA:

Job Duties: Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master the development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features our customers will love, adopt and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable. Design and implement scalability, stability, stress, reliability, availability, and longevity tests using industry standard tools and custom developed software and scripts. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Know the necessary tools and processes to debug production issues and provide fixes. Understand and implement modern technologies, design patterns, and Engineering Best Practices. Address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java and SQL (2) Javascript (3) Python (4) AWS (5) Object Oriented and System Design (6) HTTP, REST, and JSON (7) Jenkins (8) Throughput, latency, and CPU utilization (9) Docker and Kubernetes (10) Git (11) multi-threading, cache, memory management, JVM and JIT (12) JMeter.  Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $143,300.00 - $216,700.00 per annum.
