Software Engineering, PMTS/ Principal Software Engineer (multiple positions available)

Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Software Engineering, PMTS/ Principal Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA: 

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high-quality software. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Analyze, design, and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves product. Partner, collaborate, and solve problems with teams across the company. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members. Take full ownership of the end-to-end quality of the code deployed to production. Lead architectural discussions/decisions and develop the roadmap. Train new hires and onboard them into the product itself, architecture and development tools, and work in a team environment. Create, maintain, and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members. Present your designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Manage large, complex systems in the cloud. *HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in San Francisco, CA.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-oriented programming (Java and Python); (2) SOAP and REST APIs; (3) Software Quality/Testing; (4) SQL; (5) Public Cloud Architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure); (6) Database Management Systems; (7) Integration and ETL technologies; and (8) Machine Learning. 

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in San Francisco, CA.

Salary: $211,500.00 - $334,600.00 per annum.
