About your new role:

We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing software engineering team responsible for building and scaling mission-critical products. This is a strong technical leadership role for someone who can operate confidently in PHP and Python environments while driving consistent execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes.


You’ll lead from the front in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where speed, quality, and focus matter. We’re looking for a performance-oriented leader who can balance hands-on technical credibility with people leadership and predictable delivery. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong team, elevate engineering standards, and directly connect engineering output to company goals..


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a software engineering team working across modern tech stacks.
  • Own team delivery, quality, and execution against defined business objectives.
  • Partner with Product and cross-functional leaders to translate priorities into clear technical plans and sprint commitments.
  • Provide architectural guidance and maintain high engineering standards for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Establish operational rigor around planning, estimation, sprint execution, incident response, and retrospectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development velocity and system reliability.
  • Hire, mentor, and retain strong engineers aligned to a high-performance culture.
  • Implement and manage against clear metrics (delivery predictability, reliability, code quality, and efficiency).
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.


What you'll need for success:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2–4+ years in a people management role.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage in architectural discussions and code-level tradeoffs.
  • Experience operating in rapid-growth or high-velocity environments.
  • Demonstrated strong partnership and collaboration with Product Management.
  • Proven track record of delivering reliable software on schedule.
  • Performance-driven mindset with comfort managing to measurable outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems.
  • Experience driving operational discipline (SLAs, monitoring, incident management, CI/CD).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated success hiring and developing engineers.

The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
