The OpportunityWe’re seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and mature one or more product-focused engineering teams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building high-performing teams, delivering scalable SaaS solutions, and ensuring engineering excellence across execution, quality, and reliability.
This is a leadership role for a manager who brings strong technical credibility, a modern product mindset, and a deep commitment to people development. You’ll partner closely with Architects, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes on time and at scale, while continuously raising the bar for how engineering teams operate.
What You’ll DoTeam Leadership & People Development- Lead, mentor, and coach software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support individual growth and career development.
- Build and scale high-quality teams through thoughtful hiring and onboarding.
- Own team-level delivery commitments, including estimation, planning, and on-time execution.
- Partner with Product and Architecture to ensure work is scoped appropriately and delivered incrementally.
- Balance speed and quality to deliver reliable, customer-facing solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight across application development, ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and documentation standards.
- Participate in design reviews and architectural discussions across team and cross-team initiatives.
- Maintain strong awareness of system architecture, dependencies, and technical health.
- Lead teams in modern Agile and DevOps practices, including incremental delivery, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
- Monitor delivery metrics, system reliability, and operational health; intervene early when risks emerge.
- Participate in on-call escalation and incident management, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and other Engineering leaders to align priorities and deliver cross-team initiatives.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership, translating technical progress and risk into business context.
- 6+ years of senior-level software engineering experience building SaaS or SaaS-like products.
- 4+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing engineers.
- Proven ability to lead teams delivering scalable, production-grade systems.
- Strong experience with .NET / C#, including .NET Core, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular.
- Experience with MySQL and relational database design.
- Solid understanding of APIs and integrations using HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based systems, and interest in agentic or intelligent application patterns.
- Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments, including containerization, security, and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence across teams, and lead through change.
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
